Harvesting Collaborative Bets for Sustainability and Value Creation in Urabá

The Urabá region in Antioquia is emerging as a strategic area for Colombia’s development due to its geographic location, port-logistics potential, and agro-exporting vocation. Despite historical challenges related to infrastructure, services, and equity, the region is home to innovative cross-sector partnerships and resilient community processes that are transforming realities. The “Harvesting Collaborative Bets” initiative brings together actors such as Unibán, Fundación Grupo Argos, Comfama, Fundación Greenland, Puerto Antioquia, and other partners to drive integrated projects with collective impact in areas such as mental health, youth employability, education, infrastructure, environmental sustainability, and social leadership.
This field visit offers a unique opportunity to witness how collaborative efforts are being implemented, integrating economic development, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability in one of the country’s most promising regions. Through dialogue with community, business, and public leaders, participants will gain insights into how territorially legitimate solutions are built, how large-scale resources are mobilized through partnerships, and how innovations are being developed to address real challenges in the territory.
An experience that inspires, connects, and creates pathways to strengthen collective impact.
