The Fazenda Remata covers 336 hectares in Careiro (AM). Before joining Remata, part of the land was used for livestock. Today, 150 hectares of these worn-out areas are being restored, turning old pastures into systems that bring back forests while producing food and adding value to the Amazon.
During the visit, you will get a short introduction to Ramata’s approach and a guided tour of the farm’s productive areas and facilities. The team will share what they have learned about agroforestry design and management, along with practical tips on irrigation, nurseries, bio-inputs, and post-harvest steps. They will also talk about real challenges they have faced. The discussion will link these lessons to bigger opportunities, showing how science, markets, and investment can help expand productive restoration in the Amazon.

The Vila Paraíso Seringal Museum is situated in the rural area surrounding Manaus along the banks of the Igarapé São João and is accessible only by water from the Marina do Davi; the museum was inspired by the film A Selva (“The Jungle”, 2002), which is based on the work of Ferreira de Castro.

As part of the tour, the participants will gain an understanding of the historical aspects of the rubber cycle as well as the social, economic and cultural backgrounds of rubber tapping. The experience will involve handling the objects and tools used by rubber tappers, such as rubber balls, headlamps and latex taken from the area’s rubber trees. The aim is to provide an immersive understanding of rubber production in the Amazon.

This visit lets you see important projects that support sustainable development in the Amazon up close. You’ll learn how innovation, impact entrepreneurship, and stronger local supply chains can help balance economic growth with environmental protection.

The day starts with a guided tour of the Center for Entrepreneurial Incubation and Development (CIDE). Here, you’ll learn about the region’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem and the efforts to support impact businesses. Afterward, the group will enjoy a complimentary lunch at Taboa Peixaria, a local business, where you can try Amazonian cuisine and hear about a business model focused on local development.

In the afternoon, you’ll take part in a river field visit with Navegam, a company that uses land, air, and river transport to connect communities and make logistics in the Amazon more efficient. Participants will then watch a delivery of products and inputs to riparian communities, having a first-hand contact with the challenges, opportunities, and impact of innovative logistic solutions that strengthen bioeconomy and sustainable development in the Amazon.

Sítio PANC is a country property dedicated to growing, conserving and appreciating unconventional food plants (UFPs or, in Portuguese, PANCs). It gathers a broad diversity of native species, as well as of species adapted to the Amazonian biome.
During the guided tour, visitors will walk through the property’s different cultivation spaces to learn about several UFP species, their features, cultivation forms, nutritional properties, and uses in Amazonian gastronomy.
The tour also covers ideas about food sovereignty, how local biodiversity is used, and how UFP species can help create stronger and more sustainable food systems.
This visit offers a hands-on experience that shows why agricultural diversity and bringing back traditional knowledge matter for the future of our food and the environment.

The route Caminhos de Paricatuba invites its visitors to experience one of the most emblematic communities of Amazonas, where historical heritage, memory, nature, and community leadership connect to produce a unique experience.

The tour begins at the Paricatuba Ruins and continues throughout the village’s key historical heritage places, revealing events, interesting facts, and the transformations that marked the territory over time.

In the tour’s final stage, visitors experience life at the community, conducted by local inhabitants, including the tasting of a capim-santo cake at a traditional thatched-roof structure, an interpretative visit to a cassava flour processing house, and a canoe tour through an igapó, to enable an authentic connection with the Amazonian culture, knowledge, and nature.

The visit will take place at Ateliê Derequine, an initiative led by Indigenous women from the Witoto people in Parque das Tribos, Manaus. Participants can meet Indigenous leaders and learn how financing helps strengthen their territories from within. How can funding reach the leaders and organizations making a difference in their own territories? This visit looks at a growing approach in the Amazon: financing led by Indigenous communities. Participants will join a conversation with representatives from the Podáali Fund, Ateliê Derequine, and TNC Brazil (The Nature Conservancy). They will learn how local governance, trust-based funding, and stronger institutions can help Indigenous communities gain more autonomy, create lasting change, and speed up solutions designed by the communities themselves.

This guided tour offers a deep experience of the Amazon’s biodiversity by following a route that is led by MUSA educators. As you go along the tour paths and look at the exhibits, you will discover some interesting facts concerning the Amazonian fauna, flora, and ecosystems, as well as learn about the importance of scientific research for the conservation of the forest.
The path involves climbing to the observation tower, from where you can look at the tree canopies and see the different layers of vegetation in the forest. This visit to the observation tower offers a unique view of one of the most biodiverse biomes on the planet.

The Science Woodlands is a space in which the National Institute of Amazonian Research (INPA) makes a part of its mission – to build scientific and technological knowledge for the region – available to local communities.
At this setting characterized as a fragment of the forest, visitors may catch a glimpse of the Amazonian environment, despite still being in an urban area. The space is also dedicated to environmental education and the dissemination of scientific information.
During the guided tour, visitors will cover tracks and observe species of the region’s fauna and flora, while learning about conservation, scientific research and the importance of the Amazon for global climate and biodiversity.

On the tour, you’ll visit key areas of the Foundation to see how FPFtech connects applied research, industry, education, and innovative businesses. You’ll also experience firsthand how we help build the Amazon’s innovation ecosystem.

The Bahserikowi Indigenous Medicine Center is an initiative led by Indigenous experts from the Tukano, Desana, and Tuyuka peoples from Upper Rio Negro.
In this guided tour the participants will become familiar with the history of the Bahserikowi and with the principles which underlie traditional medicine among the peoples of Upper Rio Negro, as well as with the Indigenous view of health, territory and well-being/wellness.
The tour features presentations regarding the Center’s areas as well as on the care and healing procedures (kumuã) developed by the Indigenous experts and on the plants used in traditional medicine; it also promotes a discussion on the relationships between ancestral knowledge, forest conservation and interculturality. The experience aims to enable visitors to see Indigenous medicine not just as a collection of therapeutic techniques but also as a knowledge system closely linked to spirituality, nature, and community life.

The Amazonas Theater is one of Brazil’s principal historical and cultural heritage sites, and one of the greatest symbols of the rubber cycle in the Amazon. Inaugurated in 1896 at the heart of Manaus, the theater is impressive for its architecture, artistic richness and relevance for preserving the region’s history and cultural identity.

The guided tour will present the main spaces at the Amazonas Theater, including its foyer, performance hall, and historical areas, and share knowledge about its architecture, works of art, and construction details. During the tour, participants will have contact with the theater’s history, as well as with its relation to the development of Manaus and its role as one of the most relevant cultural centers of the Amazon.

This meeting will take place at a small enterprise that participates in program Bora Empreender [“Let’s start a business”], an initiative by Ambev and the Estímulo Impact Fund to strengthen entrepreneurs by providing capacity-building and financial support.

During the visit, participants will learn about the entrepreneur’s journey and the importance of productive inclusiveness for urban entrepreneurship in Manaus.

Next, they will participate in a gastronomic experience that consists in preparing and tasting a typical dish of the region, thereby enabling exchanges on Amazonian culture, entrepreneurship and the impact of strengthening small business in local territories.
